Sins of the Father
The work in the series Sins of the Father are allegorical and draw on formative experiences that I had as a young adult and my more recent experience as a father. As my son and I learn and play together I find myself reflecting on what of my father resides in me, and the influence that I am having on my son.
"A" is for apple, original sin, physical pain, the scarlet letter. Each piece is kind of a message in a bottle for Samuel, revealing something of my self for both of us to discover.
